Another successful Associate Training Programme

In January, Inardua had the second intake of associates for the associate training programme, and what a success it has been. The Associates have gained loads of skills and knowledge, Inardua has gained two valuable team members, and the Salesforce Ecosystem has gained two fantastic trailblazers.

It isn’t easy for people to get a Salesforce job without experience. There isn’t much out there, which is why Inardua is committed to providing real entry-level jobs so more people can realise their potential with Salesforce.

Our in-house training programme is 12 weeks and takes the Associates on a journey of building out an org, starting with basic admin skills right through to building multifaceted flows. As well as building out their Salesforce configuration skills, they also have the chance to build on the business Analyst skills by performing discovery workshops, requirements gathering and writing out user stories, all really key skills as a Salesforce Consultant.

The Training programme gives our Associates practice in many areas of being a Salesforce Consultant so they are ready to hit the ground running on real projects on completion.

What Anja had to say.

Where do I even start? It’s been THE MOST FUN 12 weeks I have ever had at any new job. I truly pinched myself regularly, wondering how I got so lucky to play with Salesforce all day and make it do the most amazing things! I’ve been an End (Super) User of Salesforce for years but only last year, decided to make Consulting and Implementation a career.

I completed numerous Trails, but none of them has come close to the amount of valuable lessons I learnt on this programme. I always learn best by doing, and Trails guide you through scenarios, but it’s better for me to work out solutions myself and not just follow a step-by-step guide. This programme has enabled me to do this, and I feel it is a truly unique programme in this. I am very fortunate to have been able to complete it!

For me, there have been many great moments on the programme, but I think my favourite must have been when I built a relatively complex flow, and it worked the first time around! I really love flows, but they can be tricky, so this felt particularly rewarding.

The most challenging moments I had on the programme were pretty much all related to permission sets; an approval process also tested my patience, but my Testing background helped me determine the cause of the issue after several tests, and I was very proud to figure out the solution myself.

Thanks so much to Inardua for being so dedicated to SF Development and taking a chance on me. Rebecca and Amy, specifically for putting the programme together and executing it excellently. I would never have achieved my first (couple) Certifications (Associate & Admin) before the end of the programme without your expertise and guidance!

The completion of the Associate Programme at Inardua marked the end of an incredibly productive and enriching chapter in my new career. In just twelve weeks, I went from having little to no experience in building up an org to creating my own Pet sitting business. The programme's hands-on approach enabled me to learn by doing, which proved invaluable. I particularly appreciated the weekly tickets, which provided structure and allowed me to apply what I had learned from the trails. The agile processes and daily stand-ups made for an efficient and collaborative work environment, and I was fortunate to have experienced colleagues to guide and mentor me along the way.

The programme also challenged me to adapt and improve how I learn and absorb information. I learned the art of searching for answers, an essential skill in a technical role where others had faced the problems I was experiencing. I faced some hurdles along the way, permission sets got the better of me, formulas confused me initially, and flows took a while to implement, but I found that my mistakes provided the most valuable learning experience. I am grateful for the support from my mentor and colleagues throughout. Overall, I am proud of my growth and progress during the programme, and I look forward to applying my newly acquired skills to future projects.

Thank you to our Associates, and we are looking forward to our next round commencing in June!
