Introducing Ollie

Hello, my name is Ollie, and I am the newest member of the Inardua team, joining as a Junior Salesforce Consultant.

I am based in a little town in the Cotswolds called Stroud, which is well known for its feeling of community. I, myself have always been a part of that community, working with local charities supporting disabled young adults which I loved and worked with for many years. Moving forward to the COVID-19 pandemic, I played a big role with some friends in setting up our own business called The Bike Drop which was dedicated to supporting local people in a sustainable way.

I’ve always been a part of organisations that help people, all in slightly different ways which is why when this opportunity came up, it didn’t feel too distant from what I’m used to.

Discovering Salesforce

Since discovering Salesforce I have been intrigued by its endless possibilities and combinations of making processes more streamlined. The more I investigated, the more I realised how much it's used. Everywhere!

Salesforce Trails are a great way to get a feeling for what Salesforce is and what might be included in a career in this field. It also excels as a platform because you can learn anywhere, it’s a super simple walkthrough system that keeps even the most difficult parts interesting. This really caught my attention and any time I got a free moment I was back on Trailhead.

Working at Inardua & Goals

I am approaching the end of my first week at Inardua and I’m loving it! Its been really great to meet all of the team, everyone is friendly and supportive and I can tell it all works well together, so I’m looking forward to, not only, getting to know everyone better but also settling into my new position.

Going forward into the coming months/years I’m excited to see how far I can take my knowledge of Salesforce and gain as many qualifications and certifications as I can. I think the goal as of now would be to become a Salesforce Consultant, but I am open to where my progression will take me.

Outside of Work

Outside of work I love to exercise, any kind, be it cycling, tennis, working out etc, the list goes on and I hope to take up rugby again soon. I’m also a bit of a petrolhead, so if I’m not running around you’ll find me working on cars with friends. I also have goals of travelling to New Zealand and backpacking through Asia and Europe.
