Getting started with Salesforce?

Earlier this year Salesforce confirmed its position as the world’s #1 CRM, increasing its market share by more percentage points than the rest of the top 13 CRM vendors combined, and making it clear that more businesses than ever are turning to the solution to meet their (and their customers) digital needs:

“Every industry, company, and organization is facing a digital imperative and adapting their business models to the new reality,” said Bret Taylor, President and COO, Salesforce. "The latest IDC numbers underscore how companies are increasingly turning to Salesforce to help them digitally transform and deliver connected customer experiences.”

This sustained growth comes as a result of consistently proving that Salesforce is the best in the business.

For the 13th year in a row, Gartner named Salesforce as leader in the Magic Quadrant for Sales Force Automation – the foundational technology for automating an organisation’s core sales processes.

If you’re one of the many businesses turning to Salesforce, and find yourself at the beginning of your journey, things might be feeling pretty daunting at the moment.

Alongside the technical configuration required to get your platform working to its full potential, the training and project management to ensure all stakeholders are engaged with the adoption process, and the roadmap planning and testing required to ensure your platform is set-up for long-term success – there’s the unavoidable context of looming economic insecurity as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

LaunchPad.

We’re here to help support businesses in this situation by offering start-up support with our LaunchPad service.

LaunchPad provides end-to-end delivery from project kick-off. From requirement gathering and technical development, through to testing, data migration, and go-live support and training.

We’ll also provide a follow-up road mapping session which ensures you’re familiar with future enhancement opportunities, as well as having a view of their impact, priority, and alignment with your business strategy.

Below we give a bit more detail on who LaunchPad is for, what the process is to implement your LaunchPad, what features you’ll access, and why we think Inardua will be the perfect fit to help get you started with Salesforce.

Who’s it for?

It has been designed for Small and Medium sized businesses who are either transitioning from a different CRM platform to Salesforce, or who are a start-up business and are setting up with Salesforce from the very beginning.

The typical user-license cost for Sales Cloud is £120 per-user per-month. For an organisation with 20 users the annual cost of licensing alone is over £28,000.

To make this investment worth it you need to be up-and-running and taking advantage of the Salesforce platform as soon as possible, and we’ll have you live with LaunchPad configuration after 10-working days.

LaunchPad allows you to access the benefits of Salesforce, even if you aren’t in a position to recruit a permanent and dedicated Salesforce function within your business.

What’s included?

  • Which Salesforce products you’re using, for example Sales Cloud or Service Cloud.

  • Your intended scope for the project to ensure LaunchPad is the best option for you.

  • The context of the project for your business, what your immediate priorities are, and whether there are any specific or unique outputs that will be required from the outset for your Salesforce platform to meet your needs.

  • Who the key stakeholders are, and their availability for kick-off sessions.

From there we will proceed with developing your solution in a test environment, factoring in your feedback throughout. We will spend 5-days completing development of the solution.

We will spend 2-days completing end-to-end testing of your solution. This will ensure all user profiles, security access, page layouts, and all processes are functioning as expected from Day-1.

Once testing is completed, we’ll go-live with your LaunchPad platform – migrating data and technical configurations from the testing area to your live environment.

Plan.

We’ll provide training documentation and be on-hand for queries and any necessary support as your organisation starts using your Salesforce Platform for the first time to ensure a successful launch and a pain-free first experience with your CRM.

And finally, we’ll arrange a follow-up road mapping session to assess future enhancement opportunities available to you. This will give you a view of how future changes to your Salesforce platform align to your long-term vision, as well as an understanding of their impact, the work required to deliver them, and what priority they should be for you.

All together the LaunchPad service guarantees you’ll be up-and-running with Salesforce in no time at all, with confidence that it will support short-term goals and long-term strategy in equal measure.
