Salesforce Clouds: Blog Series, Ep 4
Well we made it, the last one in the series.
In the last episode we finished off the industry-specific clouds, looking at everything from Financial Services Cloud all the way through to the newest addition: Vaccine Cloud.
So what do we have left? I have left some of the best till last, with Pardot, Tableau CRM and more to be discussed!
15. Pardot
We will begin with one of our favourite additions to the Salesforce ecosystem, Pardot!
Pardot is Salesforce’s B2B marketing solution which is designed to help marketers improve lead generation results and align marketing & sales team goals.
Key features of Pardot include:
Email marketing, marketers can build personalised and visually pleasing emails. There is also A/B testing capabilities so marketers can perfect their emails.
Send emails based on time, engagement and other parameters
Einstein lead scoring, so outreach can be prioritised
Return on Investment (ROI) reporting so campaign performance can be tracked and adjusted if necessary
Use of drag and drop functionality to create landing pages, custom forms and social posts effortlessly
Full life-cycle tracking of prospect interactions with marketing touch-points.
Pardot helps increase engagement with prospects and clients and saves your marketing team time! A great marketing automation tool!
16. Marketing Cloud
Marketing Cloud was founded under the name ExactTarget in 2000, and bought by Salesforce in 2013.
Marketing Cloud is designed as a B2C marketing platform, helping B2C businesses to create data-driven personalised customer journeys across multiple channels including email, social media, website and in person.
Key features of Marketing Cloud include:
Journey builder which connects every step a customer goes through in the build-up to making a purchase to create a single customer view
Email studio which can be used to create targeted 1-to-1 email communications at scale
Social studio which is a social media marketing and management tool
Advertising studio which can use customer data to power digital advertising across Facebook, Google, Instagram etc
Mobile Studio to create targeted mobile messages
Interaction Studio to help you guide customers along the appropriate purchasing journey and connects online and offline customer experiences
17. Tableau CRM
Formerly known as Einstein Analytics, now Tableau CRM, this Cloud boasts some of the most powerful data analysis capabilities in the market. Tableau CRM can analyse millions of rows of data to gain useful insights so you can make quick decisions and win more deals.
Moreover, it provides intelligent, integrated predictions with built in AI with no coding required!
Whilst Salesforce reports and dashboards are a great option and offer insights based upon real time data, Tableau CRM may be a good option to implement if you want to combine external data with Salesforce data, if you have multiple Salesforce orgs, or if your Salesforce environment has complex object relationships and customisations.
Organisations that implement Tableau CRM see an average of 14% increased sales conversion.
It is also worth mentioning Tableau is different from Tableau CRM (confusing I know!) Tableau would be your choice if your insights need to be shared widely among both Salesforce and non-Salesforce users, or if you aren’t using Salesforce.
That’s a wrap! I hope you have enjoyed this series and learned something new! I have definitely enjoyed writing it.
If you like the sound of any of the Clouds or features discussed in this episode then please get in touch . We can talk or walk you through in more depth how Salesforce can help you and your business.
