Introducing Inardua
We started Inardua with one aim: to deliver strategic change to organisations making positive impacts through their work.
And we wanted to give some more background about who we are; why we believe we’re different; and how we’re looking not only to support others achieve positive outcomes, but accomplish them in our own work as well.
We’re Josh and Rowan, brothers and co-founders of Inardua.
Together, we’ve got over ten years experience working with Salesforce and CRM systems and have successfully completed implementation projects with Sales, Service, Marketing and Financial Services Cloud - each of these delivering fundamental changes to the way in which the organisation operates and performs.
But that doesn’t really answer the question of who we are.
We’re committed to working fairly, transparently, and effectively in order to ensure businesses, charities, and non-profit organisations can realize the positive outcomes they exist to create.
Before working with Salesforce, our backgrounds were in Sales, Marketing and Product Management - and we’re proud to say that individually we’ve both worked with a range of organisations whose collective missions were to deliver a greener, fairer and more positive society.
We hope that commitment to openness, positive change and clarity of purpose is part of who we are, and that that is what you’ll experience when you work with us.
And we think that’s part of what makes us different.
We’re less interested in talking about field changes and technical jargon (although if you take a look at our last blog post, you’ll see we can do that as well) than we are in getting to know exactly what it is that drives your organisation, what you want to achieve long-term, and ensuring that strategy and delivery are always aligned with one another.
We’ll get to know the ins and outs of everything about your company; from the day-to-day requirements of your users, all the way to understanding the long-term strategic goals of your company.
This means you can be confident that when we’re delivering change for your organisation there will be immediate impact for your users; as well as long-term consideration of the strategic pillars of growth, experience, efficiency and flexibility.
So how can we help you deliver positive change?
We’ve both seen the delivery of strategy be interrupted by the limitations of technology before - but the flexibility of the Salesforce platform, along with our combined understanding of your strategic goals and delivery capabilities means you can be confident you are being led by your Mission and your Objectives, not by any technological limitations.
We know that now, more than ever, flexibility in how, where, and when we work is needed - and with the help of Salesforce, we can help provide you with the tools and set-up to support home working, effective team management, and efficient work processes - so even in challenging times you can be confident of success.
91% of the general working population would like to continue working from home, even when the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, and we can help support you in making more flexible working possible.
Salesforce themselves have launched Work.com a platform to help businesses reopen as quickly as possible, and as safely as possible.
The potential social and environmental benefits of increased working from home are vast. From food and plastic waste reduction and a reduction in energy consumption, to the additional time in the day afforded to your workers through a reduction in their time spent commuting.
And how about ourselves?
In addition to enabling the delivery of change for our clients, we’re committed to ensuring we deliver positive outcomes through the way in which we work as well.
We’ve started taking the first steps in applying to become a Certified B-Corp.
B Corporations are businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose.
The application process is a pretty rigorous evaluation of how our operations and business model impact our workers, community, environment, and customers.
But we feel it’s more important than ever to make a proper commitment to running a business in an ethical way, and to be held accountable to a lot more than simply making a profit.
Alongside our application to become a certified B-Corp, there are some practical steps we’ll be looking to take straight away, that we feel will ensure we’re set-up to make as positive an impact as possible, as soon as we can:
We’ll amend documentation with Companies House so that Inardua makes a legal commitment to having a ‘triple bottom line’ approach to business - considering social and environmental factors on an equal footing with financial.
We’ll implement an employee ownership scheme, meaning that as we grow everyone who works for Inardua will have a stake in the business.
We’ll offset the carbon impact of our operations by supporting sustainability projects such as tree-planting schemes.
We’ll Pledge 1% of Employee Time to volunteering opportunities to help support local and national community organisations.
We’ll commit to offering discounted rates to the charities and non-profit organisations we work with, just get in touch with us to find out more.
And that’s just the start.
We’ll keep you updated with more detail on the above and our progress in the coming weeks and months.
